The Twilight Reviews Are Pouring In...

In case you're living under a vampireless rock, it's opening day for the movie version of Stephenie Meyer's wildly popular Twilight.

Here are some links to Twilight reviews:

Instead of hanging with the teen girls at the movie theater tonight to catch Twilight, I'll be with the seeing Bolt (in 3-D) with Murray. I don't want to see the Twilight movie until I read the book which my co-worker just loaned me--many of my co-workers are now reading Meyer's series. We're a little behind the teenagers (but aren't we always?)

There are 110 reserves on the first Twilight book at our library -- and more reserves being made every day. (It's lucky that our library system owns 108 copies.) -wendie Old, writer/ librarian

I heard earlier that the book is "sold out everywhere," which is a surprise, since I saw stacks of them at our B&N, which borders the grounds of UVA, yesterday. Darn, I'll have to go back to the bookstore to do some more research.

My local library had a reserve list for Twilight several months long. I finally purchased the first two books, since my 14-year-old daughter kept asking for it. We both read it within a day each. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to see the movie!
